2019 Cheshire Youth Theater at Nelson Hall

WHAT WE DO AT THEATER CAMP...

LEARN TO AUDITION

At CYT, our campers learn to read scripts, memorize lines, and hone audition skills. Our amazing artistic team will provide guidance with fun games and real theater techniques.

FUN, CHOREOGRAPHED DANCES

CYT kids will have a blast with our choreographer as they learn new moves and dance up a storm in Singin' in the Rain, Jr.!

SING, SING, SING

Singin' In The Rain, Jr. has plenty of energetic & humorous melodies and even some ballads. There are lead singing roles and lots of ensemble singing so we need lots of voices!

ART AND DESIGN

The incredibly imaginative artistic director, in partnership with Cheshire's Artsplace, will get our camp kids involved in the behind-the-scenes creative process.

MAKE FRIENDS!

Yes, we take time to have fun! The best part of our summer theatre program is that it builds confidence, fosters friendships and creates a memorable summer experience!
