Call for new voices! The New Haven Chorale is eagerly seeking new members in all vocal sections. Auditions for the 2019-2020 season will be held Thursday, August 29 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 7 from 11:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 450 Whitney Ave., New Haven, CT., and by scheduling an individual appointment with the music director at a mutually agreeable time thereafter.

The 2019 Plainville Fire Company’s Hot Air Balloon Festival will be held August 24th and 25th at Norton Park in Plainville, Connecticut. Each year the attendance of Balloonist has increased. There is no entrance fee and the entire event is free. There will be arts, crafts and food vendors throughout the weekend.

FREE - Enjoy the Cheshire Fall Festival
This September, the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the town of Cheshire, will bring the community together to support our local businesses, crafters, farms, orchards, and local non-profits. The celebration begins on “Food Truck Friday” September 13th and continues to Saturday, September 14th at Bartlem Park in the heart of our town.
