Nelson Hall Theater is a unique performing arts venue on the campus of a retirement community, where guests are welcome and our shows are open to the public. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and intimate. A box-style theater with a high vaulted wood beam ceiling, Nelson Hall Theater boasts hand crafted stained glass windows, a 1929 Moller Pipe organ, a superior sound system and professional grade stage lighting.
Important Guest Information about our Theater:
We have plenty of guest parking between the front parking area of Village Green and the alternate Riverbend parking lot. Limited Handicapped accessible parking areas are marked and available on a first come, first served basis. For most shows, there are parking attendants at each entrance as well as signs to direct guests to visitor parking areas. Please park only in spaces marked “V” for visitor.
- Venue Seating:
Our comfortably padded main level seats are gently graduated, with up to 25 additional accessible reserved seating spaces. We have a small balcony seating area used mainly for technical staff and production crew. There are no obstructed views.
- Special Needs and Accessibility
Our theater is fully accessible to those who require assistance from wheelchairs, walkers or companions. Because circumstances vary, please inform the box office at the time of purchase if you require special considerations.Accessible seating is limited and issued on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information please ask about our accessible seating policy.
- Assisted Listening Devices
These devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis. An usher or the House Manager can assist you with this before you take your seat.
- Late Seating
Performances begin promptly at their scheduled time, listed on your ticket. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the Theater Manager and may be held until the appropriate break in the performance. Latecomers may be seated in locations other than their original seat reservations.
- Phones & Digital Devices
For the enjoyment of all patrons and respect to performers, please silence all cell phones and other digital devices while in the theater. The use of cell phones during the performance is strictly prohibited. Patrons found using cell phones and/or texting may be asked to leave the theater.
The use of cameras, cell phone cameras, and any other recording device is strictly prohibited. There may be opportunities for fan photos immediately following the performance, at the discretion of the artist(s).
- Smoking is prohibited in Nelson Hall and everywhere on campus. Elim Park is a smoke-free community.
- Children of all ages are welcome in Nelson Hall Theater, at the discretion of their parents or guardians. While all of our shows are family friendly, they may not all be suitable for your child’s level of maturity. Please read show descriptions carefully before purchasing tickets for your child, and call the box office if you have any questions. Disruptive children may be asked to leave the theater.
- All Ticket Sales are Final
Please take a moment to verify dates and review your order before finalizing your purchase. All ticket sales are final. Exchange privileges are reserved for season subscribers.

Web users have the option of requesting email receipts for your records. Nelson Hall Theater is part of a larger organization so please be aware that your credit card statement will read “Elim Park Baptist Home, Inc.” next to the charge for your ticket purchase. This information is also on your email confirmation.
Restrooms are located just feet away from the entrance to Nelson Hall.
