Important Details about Your Next Visit
Welcome to Nelson Hall, a professional 300-seat concert hall open to the public and located on the beautiful 40-acre campus of Elim Park senior living community in Cheshire, Connecticut. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and intimate. A box-style concert hall with a high vaulted wood beam ceiling, Nelson Hall boasts hand-crafted stained-glass windows, a 1929 Moller Pipe organ, a superior sound system, and professional grade stage lighting.
Please take a moment to read the following information to help make your visit the best it can be:
Parking • On-site parking is free. We have plenty of parking, but the earlier you come, the closer you can park. Our friendly parking attendants will be available to help. Limited Handicapped accessible parking areas are marked and available on a first come, first served basis. For most shows, there are parking attendants at each entrance as well as signs to direct guests to visitor parking areas. Please park only in spaces marked “V” for visitor. We are excited to announce the Theatre now offers shuttle service to and from the parking lots, no matter the weather!
Special Needs & Accessibility • We strive to create maximum accessibility for our patrons, including wheelchair seating and hearing assistance devices. Please make the box office aware of your needs at time of purchase. Please let us know if we may provide additional services to enhance your experience. We would love to hear from you at the box office, 203-699-5495. If you are bringing any type of assistive device (walker, wheelchair, etc.) please ensure the device is clearly labeled with your full name.
Late Seating • Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management. Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early to allow for parking and seating. Latecomers may be seated in locations other than their original seat reservations.
Children • While our shows are clean and family friendly, not all performances may be suitable for your child. We strongly advise you to read the show descriptions before purchasing tickets. Every child must have their own ticket/seat. Disruptive children may be asked to leave the theater. All children must be fully vaccinated.
All Sales Are Exchange Only • Please take a moment to verify dates and reservations before you finalize your purchase. If you need to exchange your tickets, please contact the Box Office at 203-699-5495.
Dining • On-site dining venues are currently closed to the public. There are many excellent dining options within a short drive from the theater.
Phones & Digital Devices • For the enjoyment of all patrons and respect to performers, please silence all cell phones and other digital devices while in the theater. The use of cell phones during the performance is strictly prohibited. Patrons found using cell phones and/or texting may be asked to leave the theater.
Photography • The use of cameras, cell phone cameras, and any other recording device is strictly prohibited. There may be opportunities for fan photos immediately following the performance, at the discretion of the artist(s).
Smoking • Smoking is prohibited in Nelson Hall and everywhere on campus. Elim Park is a smoke-free community.
For Your Records • Web users have the option of requesting email receipts for your records. Nelson Hall Theater is part of a larger organization so please be aware that your credit card statement will read “Elim Park Baptist Home, Inc.” next to the charge for your ticket purchase. This information is also on your email confirmation.
