About The Show
Karen Hester, performing as Dolly Parton, has a truly magnificent stage presence. This Clash of the Cover Bands champ proved why she was totally deserving of her big win when she got the opportunity to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She was a dead ringer for Dolly and wowed the crowd as she turned out a medley of the country star’s biggest hits, including “9 to 5,” “Jolene,” and “Two Doors Down.”
Karen has been cast in regional and national commercials, acted in the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater shows at the House of Blues, was featured in The Dean Martin Show at the Palace Theatre, and performed as an impersonator for Dino’s TV Variety Show. She was in the off-Broadway hit The Marvelous Wonderettes and was the understudy for both female roles in Golf: The Musical. Not to mention, she has been the opening act for recording artists such as Trace Adkins and Ricky Van Shelton.
Karen Hester is not just an impersonator; she embodies the spirit of Dolly herself. Backed by a country band, Karen channels Dolly’s energy and charisma, and her performances resonate with fans who adore the original “Queen of Country.”
